CANADA ???? ??

Hello, we are looking for regions within Canada that offer the warmest driest summers and that also have the mildest winters.

We’re considering emigrating from the UK but are getting confused with the wealth of weather information online.

We currently live in a small village in England in a semi rural environment so prefer countryside & beach location. We are 30 mins from main uk airport (LGW) and close to towns and city of London which is an hour away by train so we ultimately have the best of both worlds.

Canadian cosmopolitan cities greatly appeal but think after living in a small town village in England we would find city life too busy and intimidating. My husband is a quantity surveyor (construction estimator) so he would need an easy commute for job opportunities.

Priorities: we are looking for warm temperate climate, super friendly people, and top notch healthcare system.

We appreciate Canada generally has lots of snow but believe there are areas that have milder winters. The challenge is finding somewhere that also offers warm, dry summers. Places like Vancouver would unfortunately feel slightly too cool in summertime for us with the max typical temperature here in height of summer averaging 22 degrees.

We got married twenty Christmases ago in the Banff Springs Hotel, Alberta.

We have completed an online eligible to work points assessment

Advice and tips are welcome !

Why dont you try to go through the immigration department first to see if they would even accept you.

Put the horse before the cart

Also, economy not doing great now, as anywher , but I do know a British gal that got a job as a Project engineer on highriseconstrucy¡tion in Toronto a few years ago

Lots of foreign laundered money still going into real estate scams in the 3 major cities

Climate and lifestyle wise, Sounds like Lower BC mainland would be best for you or Okanogan.

If you shoose the former, I recommend you learn Cantonese.
