Drivers License

I want to get a chilean drivers license. I have heard two ways it has to be done- One- take my rut and US drivers license and then they will get me a license- or take 4 tests (incouding language) and then they will give me a license- does anyone know which (if any) is the correct way????

I would appreciate any help available. Thank you!
