I'm planning on moving to Chile for a year, possibly more. I've heard that I can enter on a tourist visa and get a temporary residence permit once I'm in the country. How would I begin the process of applying for the residence permit? (I'm having trouble sorting through the info at Chile's Dept of Foreigners website. Any tips would be great.)
