Gay friendly Chile?

Post New Topic

My wife and I are thinking of moving to Chile. We are not interested in living in the city.
Any suggestions on smaller safe and friendly towns?
Thanks MJ

We are also wanting to relocate. We are heterosexual but very much looking for less violent, more accepting, and welcoming atmoshpere regardless of race, orientation, religion, medical condition etc etc.

We live by the motto "do as you will as long as it harms no others."

I'm very interested in boots on the ground answer to the original post.
We very much appreciate those who take the time to provide helpful and honest insight.
Best regards

Chileans are very friendly and live in peace, and if you are heterosexual and friendly you’re going to be just fine.

It depends on you’re budget and you’re preferences.

If you like warmer with nice beaches stay north.

If you like city life and more expensive living expenses stay in Santiago,

If you want to growth food and live in a farm go to region 7th, Maule region, lots of small towns.
I own my farm in Pencahue valley. Mediterranean weather.

If you like scenery and adventure you can go south, Valdivia or pucon are beautiful but weather in winter is very wet and freezing cold. (5 months)

Good luck

Thank you. I have been looking at Pucon. We plan to come and visit for 3 months and may start there.
