Expunged Conviction

Dear expats,

I have a rather specific questions. Does anyone know how Chile treats foreigners with an expunged misdemeanor for 'child endangerment'? Either entering as a tourist, or in the case of applying for Residency. I am European. But my conviction took place in the California.

(just to be clear, this is not child rape or abuse - as that would obviously be a felony)

I realize it can be extremely case dependent. But I would like to get an idea of the situation.
