I had an email from Aeropost yesterday, the Government has changed international purchase charges as of today, they are now as follows:
Hasta USD $50: no pagan IVA y, además, no pagan arancel.
+++ up to $50 no change, no IVA or customs duty.
De USD $50,01 a USD $200: no pagan arancel, pero sí pagarán IVA según el tipo de producto.
+++ $50.01 - $200 no customs duty but you have to pay IVA as the rate appropriate for the product purchased.
Más de USD $200: se mantiene como hasta ahora. Pagan arancel + IVA de acuerdo con la descripción de la mercancía.
+++ More than $200 no change, pay IVA and Customs.
I haven't seen anything from Amazon, but try to make a purchase, the alteration is made, they are scared of losing Customers.
