Birth Right

With the "birthright" battle in play in the us it is is interesting to note that Colombia does not offer it to say two tourists having a baby while in Colombia.; acquiring Colombian citizenship for the child is more complicated (should that be their goal). Unrestricted birthright is offered in the US (up til now at least), Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru with restrictions.

If one parent is Colombian citizenship seems to be automatic.
