Staffers ambushed

Defensores de la Patria presidential candidate Abelardo De la Espriella lost two campaign staffers to assassins on May 15th in a rural area of Cubarral, Meta South of Villavicencio. Ambushed by motorcyclists were the former mayor of Cubarral Rogers Mauricio Devia and Éder Fabián Cardona López The presidential candidate now appears at rallies wearing a bullet proof vest and from behind protective glass. It’s a shame and reminds me of the sad death last August of the Centro Democratico candidate for president Senator Manuel Uribe Turbay.
