I will need to furnish a small 2 bedroom bungalow near Jaco Beach in August.
I will need:
beds
bedside tables
shelves
dining table and chairs
porch table and chairs
loungers
sofa and chair
coffee table
2 chests of drawers

Anyone in the area selling anything soon?
Or better still, do you know of any good stores in San Jose or anywhere i can go on the web for costa rican furniture?
Or a company that does deliveries once I've made my purchases?

I don't know the answer to your question. However, I will be moving to the same area soon, as well and will have the same dilemma. I would love to discuss your buying experience (assuming you bought your bungalow)..would you be so kind as to email me back? I used to live in Costa Rica and am returning after 12 years. If I can be of help to you, please let me know.

Hi

the bungalow we bought is on hermosa Beach near jaco. It's part of a 28 house project with a swimming pool in the middle and managing agents on site. We are not moving there at this time but hope to rent it through the agents or our own website. See www.nobleapartments.com - for our other projects too.
we are just about to pay the final installment and the lawyer is going down to see it for us this week. We won't make it over til September to furnish it.
There may be others for sale

I ended up having most of my furniture made and took over upholstered cushions - buying the foam in CR.
The table and chairs are great. i also designed 2 twin beds that sit ontop of each other thereby leaving lots of space in the room.
