My wife and I are considering moving to Costa Rica in the near future. We are retired, and one of the things that we would like to know is what expats in Costa Rica typically do when they get to the place where they need assistance. Do they hire someone privately to help them in the home? Are there home assistance services? Are there adequate assisted living facilities available? Do some people maybe move back to their home country when they think they might need assistance in the near future?
