Nursing in Denmark

I have recently spent some time working at Herlev hospital Copenhagen where I was accepted as a staff nurse with support while my language skills developed. In nearly four years of having been here it was the best oppurtunity I have had of gaining and improving my language. I am at language school but it is hard work when you can not apply it, and the only means of employment to sustain yourself seems to be in factories where few people actually use danish as they are mostly foriegn workers.
Anyway I live in Jylland and having moved back over here I am finding it very very different to Copenhagen, I have been told that that is because they are desperate for staff over there which makes me feel a bit used really.
What I am interested in finding out is
1)are there other nurses living here in Denmark who arent practising because of the language barrier.
2)what they are doing instead
3)would they practise nursing in health care if there excisted a route that could facilitae them whilst hey intergrated.
it is my belief that whilst language is obviously vital to the nurse patient relationship, there may be an underlying resource of health workers that could still contribute towards the system while maintaining some professional input. Also I feel that it would help with general intergration and language development.
There are currently 460 foreign nurses authorised to work in denmark by the health department. I am one of them and arent working now so thats only 459 left.
If you are a nurse who is not working at the moment and are living over here in Denmark you could just mail me and I will see how many of us there is, I will be looking to work with workindenmark to see if a course could be developed to fast track nurses back into health care.
