Importing a car to Denmark

Hi,

me and my wife, we plan to move to Denmark next year and we are considering bringing our car with us.

I have read about the registration tax, which can be up to 60% of the car value.

Is that really true? Will it be cheaper to buy a new car there instead of importing our car?
