Family reunification?

Hello, new to this forum so I apologize in advance if this topic has already been covered. My son is married to a Dane and he has a residency permit and will become a citizen in the future. I have checked the Danish ministry site on Parents joining their child and the information is a bit confusing. As a US parent is it possible to apply for reunification and if not what other options are available to join our son and daughter-in-law in Denmark?
