I'm Joe, and I'm planning a relocation from the US to Denmark. I've compiled a list of questions that I have so far. This information would really kick-start my project. If you have the time and inclination, I'm all ears for what you care to share. Here's what I've got:
1. What was your biggest challenge during/pre/post the relocation and how did you overcome it?
2. What's your most valuable piece of advice to give someone attempting the task?
3. Any great step-by-step (or similar) guides/resources/tools that'd be useful for a US-based or non-European origin relocation to Denmark/EU?
4. Advice on cities/communities that are ideal for American or English-speaking ex-pats/relocating?
5. I'm an "intermediate" Russian speaker, and I intend to immediately begin learning Danish. I have some stuff in mind, but I'd love any tips or suggested apps/programs?
6. Any stupid rookie relocation mistakes to anticipate/attempt to avoid?
7. Protips or relocation hacks?
8. Any rental/contractual/cultural SNAFUs of which to be weary?
9. Did you ever regret the decision to relocate?
a) If so, what was the reason/impetus?
b) Do you still feel this way?
c) If you don't, what changed things for you?
