Questions about Logistically Moving to Egypt

I have felt a strong desire to move over to Egypt as of late. Praying about it. Talking with family. I want to go and see their culture. Immerse into the language and food. Serve people well. Volunteer my time. I have spoken with my financial advisor about how to fund my sabbatical. I am here looking for advice on how to get it done logistically. I want to stay for 1-2 years.

How do I even take my first steps?
Living situation.
Finding places to volunteer.
Visas needed if any.
Insurance.
Etc.
