Moving to Hamburg in 6 months ( From the US)

Hi there!

I (US citizen) and my girfriend ( German citizen) are moving to Hamburg in 6 months. We are going to have our baby born here in the US ( she is due in early July) and then move to Hamburg. We are not married and I don't have a job waiting for me there.
What I am up against? I know I can stay for about 3 months with a visa, but them what happen after that?
I am really excited about moving to Europe but I am quite concerned about being able to stay and live there.

I am bilingual ( English and Spanish) plus I am going to school to learn as much Deutsch as I can before we move. I am also going to school for massage therapy, does anybody knows the massage therapy bussiness in Germany?
