Hi,
I am an American who has lived in Spain for the past 8 years. I have about 2 months off starting mid December of this year and was thinking of moving to Berlin. I need an apartment with internet to be able to continue working, but nothing else. I am not looking for a job and just want to ask what kind of a city is Berlin and will I have a good time (mid December to mid February)? I want to take advantage of going out, nightlife, meeting people, getting involved in organizations, learning German, learning more about the culture, etc. Is Berlin a good choice? What neighborhood would be best to live (I am single and 35 yrs. old) and how does one go about apartment hunting? Thanks for any input.
