Moving to Eifel,Germany

I am a Canadian married to a Dutch.We are in Love with Eifel. Our biggest concern is the Health and Welfare coverages. We both have good Medical coverage in Canada. When we move to Germany, we will loose that. Are we going to have such coverage provided by German Government to us ? And the other old age benefits. Please inform with any information you can in this regards. Thank you for your help
