My name is Fernando, I come from Spain and I live in Bruchsal (which belongs to Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg) since the beginning of this year. I am 27 years old, single and no kids.
I just found this website and I am very excited, now it seems I am not the only expat in Germany :).
Living in this country is not very difficult for an European citizen - apart from the language, which IS difficult! -; I guess it is more difficult for Americans; however, if I can help anyone please let me know.
And of course I am willing to make friendship with anyone that wants to. Apart from sending emails and Skyp'ing my friends and family, sometimes you can feel so lonely...
I realize that I might not fit in the "typical" user of this website (I am not married, I don't have two little children...). Nevertheless, I don't care about that, so if you live around (Bruchsal, Karlsruhe, Heidelberg, even Stuttgart... I got a car so I can move) it will be my pleasure to know new people and help us each other or just chat from time to time.
My Skype nickname is the fernandonajera; you can leave a message even if I am not online, and if you speak clear enough for me :) - sometimes it's so hard to understand some accents! - I will call you back. Or you can write me a private message using the forum, or reply to this message.
