Hi, I'm Filip and work as a mobile developer.
I come from Macedonia and I am soon moving to Germany, I don't speak German but I'm planning on learning it.

I have previously lived in Heidelberg back in 2017 and I love the city. I'm thinking of going back there, but still thinking of trying out a bigger city.
Making friends is my biggest priority, so I am considering bigger city for more opportunities for this. Cologne sounds nice, but I am afraid the weather will not suit me very well.

Hi. I'm Sharyn. My husband Tim and I are roving 'retirees'.

We're spending 6 weeks in Berlin over the summer and loving it so far. We are interested in learning from others who've chosen to live here permanently or long term.

Hi, My wife & I are retired and plan to move from the US to Heidelberg, Germany in early 2023. We are in our early 60's and hope to spend our retirement years in or near Heidelberg.
We wish to interact with other retirees and expats who have moved to & settled in Heidelberg in the past few years. Some info that we are keen to get:
1. How best to search for Rental Apartments in Heidelberg?
2. Which are some of the good Health Insurance service providers for Retirees & how much do the plan typically cost for a year ?
3. Are there any Online Groups OR Forums where we can join, so our move to Germany will be as smooth as it can be.
Cheers & have a great day!
Sam
