Guten Tag. I am in the process of applying for German citizenship through naturalization (German mother and American father). The immigration law firm I have hired advised that the processing time is faster in small towns in Southern Germany; particularly, in Bavaria or Baden-Wurttemberg. Does anyone have any knowledge of or experience living in Lindau? Or surrounding area? I'm trying to narrow down my search, but there are so many beautiful locations to chose from. Preference would be town along a lake or river, no car needed, medieval architecture, countryside walks or hikes, I'm 68, a widow, and looking for a healthier lifestyle. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
