Expat life as a German

Hi.
We are unexpectedly moving to Ghana from Japan. We are German but our son has grown up in Asia ( Vietnam, Thailand, Japan) can anyone give us a good insight where he might not be the only Caucasian student in a school? At least for the first year until we all get used to it. We have no idea what awaits us. But still very excited :) he is 12 so going into high school.
Love to hear some feedback. We have lived in Hong Kong, Canada , Vietnam , china and now Japan. But Ghana is very different. I have no idea about living there
