Can anyone give me an update on the current status of security - in airports, travel hubs, etc.. in India? In cities outside of Mumbai, such as Chennai, are expats and travelers anxious? Has security at airports, train stations, tourist spots increased? Do foreigners feel safe living and traveling in India?

What advice would you give to people preparing to move or travel to India in January and February?
