Pain Management & Opioids

Hello in Jamaica!

I am a retired man (63 yrs old/young?) looking to escape a bad & growing worse situation in the U.S. Our government has decided they know more about good healthcare than the Doctors that practice medicine. (absolutely incredible!) After being in the care of a Pain Management Specialist for over 23+ years (the same Doctor; mind you); being prescribed Morphine Sulfate Extended release (MS Contin) along with Morphine Sulfate Instant release (MSIR) for breakthrough pain, successfully & without problems: now I am being looked at as if I have a drug problem and I am an addict..What the !?!? I am trying to find another country that does not interfere with their Medical Doctor's ability to treat their patients or their pharmacies ability to provide medicine to people according to the Doctor's prescription.
Can anyone in Jamaica let me know what the attitudes of their Doctors & pharmacies are, about the prescribing of Opioids and the availability of such? Any suggestions about this subject will be really appreciated as will being pointed in another direction if you know of one.
Anyone at all! Please.
Thank You & Regards,
MaddMatt

Hello Matt,

Try marijuana or cbd for pain. Also Jamaica is about making money and pharmacists and doctors are more corrupt than americans.
So you can get whatever you want.
However, when your talking about opiods. Everybody has a problem. All opiods are addictive and stop working.
Americans become dependent on chasing that high.
As a former drug and alcohol counselor, I'd recommend other alternatives.
You should be suing your doctor for getting you hooked on the pills.
Also when foreigners move to Jamaica, they all should have a higher purpose. Like helping ikprove this country.
Jamaica is not a vacation everyday. This place is lawless thianks to Amerikkka getting involved and not staying in their lane.
Amerikkka managed to corrupt this country from the top.
Now the native jamaicans are suffering for it. Ever since the cia decided to pop up and create gangs and drug smuggling. Now its guns, guns and more guns. Jamaica dont make guns or cocaine. We could open a guns r us. Lastly, yes someone will kill you over 20 dollars.
So be aware.
Also tell your sorry ass govt to stop making guns for profit. Before the guns get pointed back at their mf heads.
Im a peaceful person, but i just understand that living in Jamaica is survival. A wave of sociopaths were created, they're are no jobs here, a foreingers somehow come and take them. Which is illegal.
They all have some nerve too cause they know they are taking advantage of the poor people in paradise.
I dont think getting prescription drugs in jamaica is the best plan. As its too easy to get any kind of pills. Inevitably, creating another drug epidemic.

A real doctor doesnt presribe pills to mask the pain. Id rather heal the pain than live with it the rest of my life.
Thats me though.
Jah bless and good luck
