Should i move to Jordan?

I am a 25 year old Australian and am considering moving to Jordan. My boyfriend has a job starting in August and is wanting me to move with him. I have hesitations as i have heard various stories about couples living together out of wed lock?
I aslo don't have a job lined up, how hard is it to find work?
Any advice comments?
