Hi, I’m an 18 year old female who has recently converted to Islam and married a Jordanian man. He is in the process of moving to America to make a living but our long term goal is to move back to Jordan once we establish good income in the states. I am just nervous because I’ve never lived outside the U.S. and Jordan was very different than other Muslim countries I’ve visited. I’m not sure I’ll be fully comfortable living there, so I want to get as much information as possible.

Hello, I am a primary school English teacher. I recently won a government sponsored study abroad award and will visit Jordan in July for cultural studies. I am very interested in getting to know more about the local people and culture. I am researching the Bedouin nomads, and would be grateful for any useful research leads or English books on this subject. Are there any libraries in Amman where research may be conducted? TIA

I’m a retired married man living in California. I will be visiting Jordan from June 3 to July 3, 2022. I have reservations at a hotel in Amman, but want to travel widely in the country. I am interested in meeting local people and expats who speak English or Arabic. I have a beginning knowledge of Arabic. I will be traveling alone while my wife is in Russia visiting her relatives.
