Used to live in Korea, looking to talk to people there now

Hey there, my name's John. I'm new to this site, and I'm on my phone so bear with me. I apologize in advance if this isn't the correct sounding board for what I want to say.

So, my story. 2 years ago at this point (it barely seems so long ago) I lived in South Korea for 3 months with my best friend from home, and 2 women I was acquainted with from the internet. It was probably the best time of my life. I enjoyed everything, from the cultrure to the food to the very people themselves. Unfortunately it was a short lived stay (3 months total), and at the time we thought it was the best choice to come back. Now, I love seeing my family and everything, and spending time with my friends. It still seems though that I left a large part of me behind, and that there is this...echo in my chest that resonates back to the other side of the world. I want to early to go back again, but I don't know how at this point. Life in the US is nice for sure, but it doesn't have the same feel as my life abroad did. I'm not exactly sure what I hope to get from this post, maybe just to get my feelings out there. If anyone feels the same though, feel free to post, I'd love to hear other people's stories as well.

I can still remember every street in vibrant detail, as if every corner I run here might be a turn back on a street in Seoul, or Osan, or Suwon, or Pyongtaek. Nothing has ever stuck with me with that much detail before, or for so long.
