Beach Clubs

Hi,
I will be moving to Kuwait mid May with my wife. We have been told that we should join a private beach club when we get there as there is a variety of activities on offer and it is a great way to meet other westerners. Is this true? If so can anyone suggest the best place to go and a website if there is one.

I am 26 and my wife is 24. We are a very sociable couple so if anyone is interested in meeting up once we arrive, I would love to hear from you.
