school and housing advice for Brit

I have just found out we will be moving to Kuwait from Oman in the summer. I need information on the English schools in kuwait - I have two daughers aged 12 and 14. Also any advice about housing - good places for Expats to live etc. Are the houses over there on compunds or are they stand alone house? We have a mixture in Oman.
