Long story REALLY short, I came to Kuwait as an American Contractor. After being here two years, I met and married a Kuwaiti, changed my residency from US contractor to "Kuwaiti spouse" and started teaching. My husband has left, not even his family knows where he is. I broke my leg and the school where I work stopped my salary, then screwed up the insurance paperwork. I am STUCK here, a financial prisoner. I have no money and no food, am getting by selling little things, but this is running out. I have tried the Embassy, they won't/can't help me. I can't find a job because I am on this Iquama. I NEED help, any ideas?
