Unmarried without Children in Kuwait

I'm considering relocating to Kuwait in early 2010, but I'm a bit worried about the social scene there. It seems like most of the expats are fairly advanced in their careers and married with children, and I'm not sure how I'd fit in as an unmarried woman in my mid-20s. I'm in a serious, albeit long distance relationship, so I'm not concerned with the dating scene so much as making friends whose lives don't revolve around driving their kids to and from The English/American Schools.

Any insight on this would be much appreciated.
