Health tests / Hep B-C / HIV

My husband works in Kuwait and I am planning to join him soon. I've been told that I have to go through so many health tests to get permanent residency. What happens if I am positive one of those tests? Could anyone tell me anything from their experiences or anything that you've heard regarding this matter? Thank you
