My husband and I are considering applying for duel citizenship to Luxembourg and moving out there.
We want to buy land and build a sustainable home/farm/BnB situation.
Today we were looking at land for sale, and saw it broken into the categories of Building and Non Building land.
Now, at first we figured Non building land was land that wasn't allowed to have buildings on it (maybe purely for agriculture use or something). But we saw several plots listed and priced as Non building that had newly renovated Chalets and buildings pictured on the land.
So now we are confused as to what the difference between non building vs building land is. I have been down a Google rabbit hole, and though I have found mentions on Non building land in reference to taxation, I have not been able to find an actual info on what you can or can't do on the different types in terms of development.
