Moving to Moldova Soon

I am retired military and will be coming to Moldova to volunteer teaching English. Would appreciate any help/advice etc.. I am going to be in Causeni, which is apparently just south of Chisinau. I have spent a great deal of time in Europe and Eastern Europe as well so I'm not a babe in the woods, just looking for some connections.
