Moving to Tangier. Cost of life?

Hi all,

We are a teaching couple, currently living in Asia, and we got a job offer from a school in Tangier. Our salaries combined reach about 16000 Dihnar/ month, which, compared to what other schools offer, is extremely little. The job sounds fantastic and challenging. My question is simply: can you live 2 people on 16000/ month. What if accommodation is provided? Do you simply survive, or can you travel the country a bit?
