Move to Oman

hi there, my husband is looking at job prospects in Muscat. So now we are trying to do a bit of research before accepting anything.

I was wondering if anyone can give me some info/advice re places to live, cost of living etc???

Also are there any social groups etc where we can meet people and make new friends?
