Nurses in Panama

My husband and I are looking to move abroad from the US in a few years. He is an RN and I will be a Family Nurse Practitioner. Does Panama recognize and use NPs? What is the job market like for the healthcare industry, and what kind of wages can be expected? We are looking for a warm, tropical destination with a slower, safe, and affordable lifestyle in which to raise our future children.
