Tourist visa 90 or 180 days?

I got a entry stamp into Panama at the Bocas border 2 months ago. I'd like to stay in Panama for 2 more months without leaving. Does anyone know if it's true that the tourist stamp is good for 180 days? Or is it 90 days? My stamp doesn't have anything written on it about an exit date. I have a US passport. Thanks in advance!
