Container questions

I've heard that all boxes going into your Panama container must be marked with contents identified. Is this a special form or can we just mark the boxes? How specific do you have to be? Can you mark like "acrylic art paints and painting supplies", or must you mark the exact amount inside? I've heard if they open a box and the contents don't match what's inside they will go through everything and you may end up paying more. Thanks in advance for your answers.
