Considering move, looking for resources

I am thinking about moving to Panama, either at retirement (a few years away) or while I'm still working. I'd like to plan a visit in February or March to get acquainted. Can someone recommend some resources I could meet with during a visit? I would either be looking at Panama City or the Boquete/David area. Whoever manages visa applications, rental agents, etc. -- whatever would be needed to make a move easy.

Also, any general tips about making this move (single female) would be welcome.

Many thanks.
