Quick question for those of you who have bank accounts here in Panama : what interest rates do your banks give you, on Savings and/or Deposits?
I became interested after conversing with someone from another thread here (regarding banking info). The bank I use offers me 3%. Until now, I thought this was a good rate; but, after doing some online research, it turns out 3% is rather crappy, at least for banks in Panama.
I found this link on Google :

It doesn't say much; but it does state a rate of over 3% for a few of Panama's banks.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find more useful info online (bank interest rates are public information; so, I'm not sure why I can't find anything more).
So, I'm interested in the rates offered by other banks here.
If you're not comfortable sharing that info on a public forum (although, it's not exactly private info, anyway)..........feel free to simply send me a PM. I just want to know which banks in Panama offer the best rates on Savings and Deposits
