Getting a Job In Panama

Some people move to Panama to retire but others need to find a way to make a living when they move to Panama.

To get a job at most companies, you'll need to show that you have a work permit. And you cannot get a work permit until you have your permanent residency visa (like Friendly Nations).

Pensionado Visa holders are never allowed to get a work permit or work in Panama.

There is a little loophole to avoid getting a work permit or a residency visa. If you work for a registered Multinational company, then you will be granted a 5-year Employment Visa and you don't need to get a work permit. Another benefit is that you do not owe any taxes in Panama on your income if you work for a Multinational company.

I wrote an article with more details about this benefits of working for a Multinational Company and gave links to more than 100+ Multinational Companies.

Some people from my tours got jobs making 6-figure incomes working for a Multinational company in Panama.
