Prepare for a long summer

With the most recent round of closures now through the 9 / 10 January holiday, anyone traveling to and/or living in Panama should be prepared for several more months of significant disruption.

There is no reason not to expect a another 4-day nationwide lockdown in February around Carnival weekend; and, another in April around Easter.

Other regionally-focused lockdowns should be expected as well.

It is abundantly clear for all to see that the Cortizo government views the "virus" as THE mechanism to re-create Panama in their image.

I still can't conceive of the thinking that is now destroying this once-beautiful country in the name of "public health"...
