Guitars?

I'm an avid musician and will be selling off all my gear before departure. How easy will it be to pick up a decent steel string acoustic guitar, secondhand preferably? I know from living in the Philippines that it can be challenging to find steel string guitars in countries that embrace classical instruments with nylon strings and wide necks. Is there an online marketplace similar to Craigslist in expat areas like Boquete? Any larger music stores in towns other than PC? Would it be realistic to fly my best guitar there and travel with it by bus to my destination? Thanks.
