Visiting Panama with a DUI/criminal record

Hello, my spouse and I are visiting Panama soon. Beautiful country. However, my spouse has had 2 DUI’s. Is there going to be any issues at the immigration checkpoint in Tocumen? Does anyone know an example where someone had a criminal record or misdemeanor and was not able to enter the country. Thanks!
