Single dui and residency

I have a job offer for a company that’s based in the US but has an office in Panama. I’m considering the offer, however, I would need to eventually obtain residency. That being said I have a misdemeanor DUI offense from three years ago, (no wreck, no harm to individuals). I haven’t had anything on my record but that offense and some speeding tickets. I know about the Buena Vista process but wanted to know what are the chances of it not getting approved, obviously I would disclose this in the process.
