I travel to Panama from time to time and love the country. I am considering retiring there in a couple of year. I have done quite a bit of research on the "normal" things like insurance, healthcare, visa process, housing and various things and have several Panamanian friends. But no one but an expat can (or a lawyer) can likely answer me this. Although I will be retired and on a pensioner visa I do plan on "doing things" either and a remote worker part time, or start a small business in Panama. My question is this. I know I can't work with that visa class, but can I 1) make a product that is sold by an employee where my interest is only the profit of the company? or 2) participate in the export of Panamanian product (say Orchids) to an other country (say USA)?
