Hello- My name is Brian. I ve just retired from 41 years working in the corporate real estate field and have been researching Panama for several years with the expectarion that I may spend some if not all if my retirement there before grandchildren start coming along.
I have booked my first trip which will include outings to several areas: Bocas, because I spent my childhood years in Puerto Rico, the area west of PC and then out around the Azuero from Chitre to Las Tablas. Hopefully there will be time to run out and over to Sta Catalina.
Id be interested in meeting other expats along the way to "learn the ropes" so to speak based on first hand accounts of moving to, choosing locations and adjustments/practical lessons to keep in mind as part of the process.
If any expats there have the time or interest, I'd like to met up along the way to meet, sit and talk about your experiences.
