Meeting expats in Lima

I'm wondering if there are any regularly scheduled social events, lunches, dinners etc.? I went to a local branch of an international expat group where I live and there were 25 women under 25 and 2 men: no thanks. I am not one to go to bars. How do expats meet one another in person?
