Looking for Apartment

Where can I find a good decent apartment in Miraflores or surrounding areas for around 400USD a month. Looking just for a short term least, 90 days or a little more. Any Ideas?

You can find a room (sharing an apartment) for that budget, but you will not find a decent apartment in Miraflores for $400.00. Miraflores is a beautiful district. Once you are boots on the ground you might find a very small, dingy apartment for that price, but it wouldn't be in the nicer areas. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

that is a challange. however you could be in luck if you were willing to commute a bit. there are many oppertunities in Villa el salavdor. the bus is cheap and the apartments are in good shape an crime is low.

hi................
that's asking a lot......... Miraflores is the Beverly Hill of Lima,,, along with San Isidro........
I don't think you can find a $400 month apartment for even Long Term,,
Short term is usually higher....
and
Spring starts this month and with summer - Season coming you can expect higher prices....
Lima is diverse and there are places where you definitely do Not Want to be.................but that aside........
I think you will have better result if you think about San Borja,, and up and coming area.... and even better Surco...
Surco is a Very Nice area,,,,,,,,,, my friend's family lives there........have visited many times and it is A-OK.
Some more detail,, neighborhood in the area of Polo Ave ,,,, sort of adjacent to where the US embassy is....
Also,, in a main shopping area there is a Supermarket called Vivanda,,, surround this area you could find prospects......
The best way to find is On The Street looking for signs or asking Street Security people.........I think most rentals take place by word of mouth rather than advertisement.......
Search OLX for possible listing also....
http://www.adondevivir.com

of course Lima is not the only place to be,,,,,,,,, Think Trujillo to the North and also,,,,, Huanchaco..........near Trujillo..........
